Quitting blogging... Maybe.

So yeah, I might quit blogging. I just don't have the passion to continue blogging anymore, it seems. I guess you can blame Facebook/Twitter for that. But nevertheless I'm not gonna delete this blog because, who knows, I might suddenly have the urge to start blogging again. So yeah, I guess this is goodbye. For now. I guess.

Out of Ideas

Urgh. Well, updating my blog every fortnight is harder to do than I had expected. The problem is that I'm not sure what to post in here. Oh well... until next time then. I hope..

Anime

Ever since I was a child, I have always been watching anime. One of the first anime I had watched is, if I can remember correctly, the infamous Dragonball. I'm pretty sure most of you had watched this anime at one point in your life. Since then, I had watched dozens and dozens of anime from most (if not all) types of genre. So I can pretty much say that anime had a big influence in shaping who I am now.

What makes anime very intriguing to me, you ask? Well, there are many reasons why I think anime are awesome as opposed to watching korean dramas, blockbuster movies, and the such (fanboys and girls, don't flame me, all right?). Below are a list of things why I am pretty much addicted to anime.

1. Variety
So many food, so little time...
There are so many types of genres that anime offer. I had watched a lot of different anime during the past decade, and I would have to say, each and all of them are unique  and interesting in their own way, and this variety is what draws me to always search for another anime when I had finished watching one series. I won't be listing all of the genres though. You can find that out yourself.

2. Beyond reality
Unleashing you inner power just to catch a flying food. Epic.
This pretty much goes without saying. Since most anime are hand-drawn, anything and I mean anything is possible in an anime. Jump off a building and land perfectly? Yep. Run 80 kilometres per hour to catch a cab? Yep. Throw an eraser and knock someone out? Yep. In the world of anime, anything is possible. It is only limited to how much imagination the writer of the anime has, and how creative the artists of the anime can get.

3. The "Cool" Factor
A lone samurai with an afro increases the cool factor by a
power of 10.
Nothing is cooler than watching your favourite anime character dishing out his final special move to finally defeat an archenemy. As cliché as it might sounds, it is also one of the reasons that draws me into watching an anime till the end of the episode. Although, there are anime that looks really awesome, there are also those which I think are pretty plain and dull, but I watch those too.

4. Too Damn Cute
Awww so cute ~ ~ ~ :3
Eventhough cuteness is not one of the main reasons that I watch anime, some of the characters are just so damn cute that it makes you want to snuggle it for hours and hours. I would have to applaud the Japanese for being able to create some of the cutest thing in this world. Without it, anime would just be another plain old boring cartoon.

Photoshop

As time passes by, our interests change, and that goes the same to me. Last 2 years I was interested in drawing (or tracing to be accurate) and reviewing games. But now, that has changed. Nowadays, I'm more interested in editing or creating pictures/arts using Photoshop and reading articles on the internet. Today I'm going to write about some of the pictures that I have edited/created using Photoshop.

This is a photo manipulation of one of the picture taken during my time in Uni. The floor looks empty and dull, so I decided to decorate it a bit by recolouring the floor with the infamous Space Invader icon.

If you're a frequent internet user and good at trolling, you will know who this guy is. Search for "trollface" at Google if you seriously don't know who this guy is. Seriously, search for it. Like now. Go. It's crucial that you know who he is. Done? Good. You are now a troll. :)
Jokes aside, this is an example of a bokeh art done by repeating multiple shapes and then resizing and blurring some out to create an illusion of depth. I may have placed too much trollfaces in here, but I only do it for the lulz.

And that, my readers are just some of the pictures that I have made using Photoshop. Notice the picture of Steins;Gate above? I photoshopped that too (although I not the one who drew the image XD). It's fun to experiment and creating new arts and pictures using Photoshop and I encourage everyone to try it. :D

For more pictures of my artwork, you can check out my Deviantart.
That's all for now. Till next time.

Resurrection!!! (Again)

...Perhaps. It has been more than a year since I've abandoned my blog. The reason: Facebook. Ever since I've joined Facebook back at July 2009 I've been blogging here less and less until one day I decided to abandon it all together. I don't know why, but Facebook seems to have that "addiction aura" to it that keeps on drawing people to always log in to their account and post status and comments, upload pictures, stalk on strangers, etc. Congrats I would like to say to Mark Zuckerberg for founding the world's most successful social network in the world.

Facebook aside, today I suddenly feel the urge to reopen my long abandoned blog. And it looks the same as ever since I had abandoned it more than a year ago. After looking back at the previous posts that I had posted in this blog, I feel that I should continue to write and post in this blog. After some refurbishing of my blog layout and design, I am ready to go back into blogging again. Although I am not always be free to write a post everyday, I will try my best to aim for publishing at least one post every 2 weeks.
