X'mas Day and my Lappy

Ok, 1st of all, forgive me for not updating my blog for such a freaking long time. When the exams are over, we tend to become more lazy and more forgetful than ever before. Since today is Christmas Day, I just feel that I should at least update my blog a bit.

So, what am I doing on Christmas Day this year? Well, basically nothing. I'm just stuck at my home playing games and online.

For those who still don't know, I bought a new laptop about a month ago. It's the ASPIRE 4736G from ACER. So far from what I can see this laptop performs well. GTA IV runs pretty smoothly (about 20-30 fps) on the lowest settings. Crysis runs very smoothly (about +30 fps) on low settings but with screen resolution of 1366 x 768. Left 4 Dead 2 runs very smoothly (+30 fps) on very high settings. So, overall I think this laptop is pretty good for being able to allow me to play this games. :)

My laptop's specifications for the curious ones:
  • Intel Centrino 2 Processor Technology
  • Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P8600 (2.20GHz, 800MHz FSB, 3MB L2 cache) support Intel 64 architecture
  • Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit
  • Intel PM45 Express Chipset
  • Intel Wireless WIFI Link 5100 (dual-band quad-mode 802.11a/b/g/Draft-N)
  • Nvidia GeForce G105M with up to 2303MB of Turbocache (512MB of dedicated DDR2 VRAM)
  • 4GB DDR3 RAM
  • 500GB HDD
  • 14-inch 1366×768 pixel resolution, Acer CineCrystal TFT LCD
  • 16:9 aspect ratio
  • DVD-Super Multi Double-Layer Drive (DVD+/-RW) (note that my laptop can read blu-ray discs)
  • Integrated Bluetooth 2.0+EDR
  • Integrated Acer CrystalEye webcam
  • Dolby Home Theatre audio enhancement
That's all I'm gonna write for now. I want to continue playing Crysis after this. ^_^
Merry Christmas for you all!!!!!!!!!!! :D
